EVERY Major Disney World Ride – Including FLIGHT OF PASSAGE – Saw Wait Times DROP This Week (2024)

We study the average ride wait times in Disney World and report on all the current trends! That way, you can be prepared for your next vacation. So, now that we’re almost through August, what are the average ride waits looking like? Should we be worried or relieved? Let’s find out!

Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.

We noticed something interesting this week in terms of wait time trends. EVERY Disney World park boasted LOWER average attraction wait times across the board, which we very rarely or ever see.

Magic Kingdom

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time.

(NOTE: Since Tron Lightcycle/Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure do not use standby lines, we have not included them here.)

• Hall of Presidents: 4 minutes
• Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse: 5 minutes
• Carousel of Progress: 5 minutes
• Tom Sawyer Island: 5 minutes
• Prince Charming Regal Carousel: 6 minutes
• Mad Tea Party: 6 minutes
• Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 8 minutes
• Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 8 minutes
• Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover: 9 minutes
• Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 11 minutes
• it’s a small world: 11 minutes
• Enchanted Tiki Room: 12 minutes
• Pirates of the Caribbean: 12 minutes
• Tomorrowland Speedway: 13 minutes
• Country Bear Musical Jamboree: 14 minutes
• Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 15 minutes
• Liberty Square Riverboat: 15 minutes
• Enchanted Tales with Belle: 19 minutes
• Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 19 minutes
• Astro Orbiter: 20 minutes
• Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 24 minutes
• Haunted Mansion: 26 minutes
• Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 26 minutes
• Jungle Cruise: 31 minutes

• Peter Pan’s Flight: 41 minutes

The Magic Kingdomsaw dips in wait time across the board this week. Pretty much every ride at the park saw a drop of at least several minutes this week.
(REMINDER: TRON Lightcycle / Run does not currently use a standby queue; it’s not included here, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does not have a standby queue yet.)

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

• Walt Disney Presents: 0 minutes
• Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 8 minutes
• Muppet Vision 3D: 10 minutes
• Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 14 minutes
• Alien Swirling Saucers: 18 minutes
• Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 30minutes
• Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 31 minutes
• Toy Story Mania: 33 minutes
• Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 36 minutes
• Rise of the Resistance: 39 minutes
• Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 46 minutes
• Slinky Dog Dash: 54 minutes

Hollywood Studiosjoined its fellow parks in seeing wait times dip this week, though to a slightly lesser extent than Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom.

EPCOT

• The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 8 minutes
• Spaceship Earth: 10 minutes
• Mission: SPACE: 13 minutes
• Turtle Talk with Crush: 15 minutes
• Soarin’: 10 minutes
• Frozen Ever After: 42 minutes
• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 45 minutes

EPCOT’s also saw some dips this week, with both Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen ever after dipping below 46 minutes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The average wait times for Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below.

• The Boneyard: 0 minutes
• TriceraTop Spin: 6 minutes
• It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
• Dinosaur: 17 minutes
• Kilimanjaro Safaris: 22 minutes
• Expedition Everest: 22 minutes
• Kali River Rapids: 32 minutes
• Na’vi River Journey: 43 minutes
• Avatar Flight of Passage: 61 minutes

EvenAnimal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage, Disney’s near undisputed champion of average weekly wait times in recent years, saw a huge drop this week, falling to just 61 minutes.
