My situation was slightly different, but just got Starlink a month ago and it’s been great. Super fast and has cut out once or twice only when severe weather passes through. Worth it for me.

If I had the opportunity to have ATT Fiber I’d have had it 6 years ago. Alas, Cox is my only wired option.

We've had it available for about 5 years but we just switched last year. Not sure what took me so long.

When I lived in BR and had cox, it seemed like every channel I ever wanted to watch was “unavailable”.

Dump Cox if possible. I didn't have a fiber alternative until AT&T hit our neighborhood this summer. AT&T has been solid not having to endure frequent Cox outages.

I felt like I was trying to get out of a timeshare when I cut my service off

Yep. Cox wanted to give a low ball monthly cost, but would not state the duration. They also asked what I was paying for AT&T and I said nothing for peace of mind.

Directv satellite auto switches to internet streaming when you lose signal if the receiver is connected to wifi
